Augustine's View of Love

"What does love look like? It has the hands to help others. It has the feet to hasten to the poor and needy. It has the eyes to see misery and want. It has the ears to hear the sighs and sorrows of men. That is what love looks like."

It is so easy to forget why God has put us on the earth. We are to humble ourselves and serve others. God has called us to love and grace. The wiser we are, the more adept we will be to give to others what we so desperately need ourselves, grace and love.
