The Twins of Grace and Life
A friend from elementary school sent this to me and because we have twins, it means a lot. Read and enjoy!
"The parents found themselves pregnant, far from their Christian foundation, on their way to a notorious abortion mill. Once there they ignored the requests of sidewalk minister, Angela Michaels to give them a free ultrasound to see their baby (Angela is one of the few prolife ministries that has an mobile ultrasound on site).
"The expectant couple rejecting the offer of help , instead went inside to abort. That is when the baby killers told them they needed twice the money because they were having twins. Without the extra blood money, the abortuary would not proceed. Thanks be to God for the greed of these baby killers. They couple left.
"I had been a prayer warrior of the Micheal's ministry called "Small Victories" for several years. Daniel, Angela and I had communicated via email and I recieved their weekly news letters in the same fashion. When I learned I was moving to ...., Mo, a city without an abortuary, I contacted Small Victories to let them know, if they came across a gal from Springfield that we could be their arms and eyes to watch over and protect the child and parents. The call came that day.
"Upon walking out the door the parents were asked if the sidewalk ministry team could be helpful in any way. They were offered some literature by Angela's daughter as their car drove from the parking lot. This small persistance paid off.
"On the way home, the mother called Angela and repented of her desire to end the life of her child(ren). She could have willfully chosen to kill one child, but not two. Strange what God can use to bound a parent to their child. Twins were just what she needed.
"My wife Deborah and I were given the opportunity to share along with our church fellowship the joy of standing along side this couple who were expecting twins.
"This is the first time in my ministering to once abortion bound mothers who were expectating twins- every other of the many saved children have been solo births. I am excited !
"We contacted the mother and met with her and the father for lunch.
We are so blessed to have this couple allow us, as strangers, into their lives! It is a great trust that we do not take lightly. Soon we were close friends with a singluar vision. Life.
"They have been over for dinner and games frequently and are attending services at our church, which the father now calls their church home. They are slowly growing in faith and we continue in hope for their future growth as they share plans they have in Christ.
"Last month our church along with Operation Rescue West gave the parents a baby shower. And because I am a man... men were invited! Yeah!!! (Nothing funnier than men doing those silly baby shower games.

"Well the day finally came, the twins were born this week. Baby Nathan Michael came first from the womb at 6lbs 1oz and 19" long, his brother Ryan Lee followed 12 mins later, feet first at 19 1/2" and 6lbs 10 oz. BIG BOYS for twins. They were enduced a month prior to their due date. All are healthy and beautiful, mom and babies.
"We hope that the relationship can be like others we have had with families we have reached out to. We want to see the children grow to graduate from High School and even to graduate College and see these adult survivors have children of their own. Please pray that Deborah and I are able to continue to be a pivital part of this family."
