The Sovereign God Delights in Himself - and so we.

The greatest joy of mankind is the knowledge and experience to enjoy God. God is the greatest delight and so God delights in Himself. This is right and good; it must be so. But more wonder than that is the truth and excellence is that He allows and desires us to feast on Him. There is no greater joy than this and it will be the sustenance of heaven.

The sovereign God wants to be loved for Himself and honored for Himself, but that is only part of what He wants. The other part is that He wants us to know that when we have Him we have everything--we have all the rest.
